Works Well

Here are a couple of great things about this Generator. the remote starter is a great feature however if you turn the unit off via remote and do not turn off the Key on the generator the battery dies. you will need to pull on the cord to re start the generator. also when you have a full electrical load the generator is louder than when you are running it in idol mode.

The handles and wheels make it easy to move around

P Keates Confirmed Owner  -  2017-10-11
This unit looks and feels well built. It is larger and heavier than 2000 watt units but if you've done your research that won't be a surprise. It was necessary for me in order to get the extra power. The handle and wheels make it easy to move around. Easy to set up and started right away. Electric and remote start work perfectly for those that might find the pull cord too difficult. My issue was shipping. When I unpacked it the lifting handle was broken off and the casing was cracked. Tough to figure out who to call and needed to use the unit so sending it back wasn't option. Read other reviews about shipping damage. Not a great customer experience when it happens.

The Inverter itself I am very pleased with

Amazon Customer Confirmed Owner  -  2017-10-11
As always from Amazon I recieved my package on time and actually a day before the expected day given. The Inverter itself I'am very pleased with. I tested mine at home for a couple weeks before dragging it out to the lake. We use ours for our camping trailer and it's perfect. Run's my AC in my camper and everything else I need it for. It's very quiet at idle speed and very decent even when reved up higher. I'd say for myself my fav thing about this inverter is the remote option! Call me lazy if you want, but if I'm watching a late night movie in the camper and don't feel like getting up and going back outside to shut it off, I can just push one button right from my bed and done deal. Also the customer service and online general info and tip's for these unit's is great. I've already seen a few vid's on step by step maintenance and care just from typing in the model in google search. I've also contacted Midland's customer service a few times about general questions I've had, and they have been more then helpful everytime. I def recommend. Thanks.

Excellent Value for your money

Anees Obeid Confirmed Owner  -  2017-10-11
Hi Everyone I have always been a Honda EU Fan, and I have owned them for years. My Honda has been acting up, so I decided to go buy another one. Close to $3000 for a new one :( So I went on a quest to finds something comparable; and I found this New Energizer EZV3200. I read all the reviews and looked at the specs. It's very similar to the Honda Electrically, and has a different Engine. I took it to camp to try it out on my water pump, which by the way always choked the EU3000; and when the pump kicked in, the lights didn't dim nor did the generator choke. That's a big thing for me, because when the Honda Choked, all the electronics had to be reset. It has the auto Throttle like the Honda, It's smaller and puts out more power, and has a handle and wheels to move it around. I am in the process of selling my used Honda and will be buying another EZV3200 for my second generator for backup. Mine came with a weak battery, so I contacted technical support and was helped by a gentleman by the of Ryan Desousa. He knew the product inside out and how to trouble shoot the generator. He then determined that the battery should be replaced and he had shipped to my home in 3 days. It is working like a top now. Very happy with it and the remote start is very convenient.

Great little gen for the dollar

Amazon Customer Confirmed Owner  -  2017-10-11
Our favorite part about this generator, is with the electric start it makes it so easy to start. It's relatively quiet compared to previous models we have used. It's light enough that it doesn't require two people to carry which is an awesome feature in a unit with this type of output. One thing I would change is tire size to make it easier to pull over gravel. Customer service is also great with any questions or concerns you may have.

Impressive Remote Start Inverter

Frances Deane Confirmed Owner  -  2017-10-11
Purchased the Energizer EZV3200 last week and used during a quick weekend trip. The unit has exceeded my expectations. A few features that are the most impressive. * Remote start - once switched on the remote WILL start up the unit from inside a trailer - unlike what's been stated in other reviews, there is not a 15 minute window to restart. This is by far the best feature as you don't have to go out in the cold to start or stop the inverter and can turn it on for a moment to heat something in a microwave or charge your batteries when dry camping. * Fuel gauge - used one tank with intermittent use over two days with 12 hours of run time. * High altitude performance - at 7,500 ft and temperature in the 30's, the unit started immediately and ran with no issues. * Roller wheels / body - the shell and wheels are plastic but they have a hefty feel and should last for some time. * Noise level - unit is not much louder than the 2000 amp Champion inverters I've used in the past. * Digital display - display lights up and displays RPM's, watts / amps and run time. * Power - can power the lights, TV, AC and microwave at the same time. Area's of poor design * This inverter does not come with oil and is difficult to fill. * 23.3 Amp plug is not RV ready. You must purchase a locking converter to attached your 30 Amp outlet (Amazon sells the Camco #55333 3 prong adapter for under $5 that works great). Over all my initial impression is very good. I was a little concerned with buying a unit that only had a few reviews and a brand that isn't known for manufacturing inverter generators. Unit was shipped to CA from the Northeast on time and without any damages.

Just in time for hurricane Maria and I LOVE IT!

Francheska Confirmed Owner  -  2017-10-11
Got it just in time for hurricane Maria and I LOVE IT!!!! I got like 120 hours on it, the digital display helps you keep track of when to change the oil and when to clean the filter. I power my fridge, 3 fans and charge 3 phones and a tablet with it. The 7.4 liter gas tank runs for 10 continuous hours (you cant beat that). Its super quiet and easy to maintain. Just purchased a second one for my mom.

Very satisfied with this generator.

Very satisfied with this generator. It is as quiet as a Honda model and has all the features we need for emergency house power and rv camping without the noise of a conventional generator. Well worth the money!

Stevo Confirmed Owner  -  2017-10-11
Was wanting to get the EZV2800 but had problems with shipping it to me, and opted from the bigger one, i guess is new on the market, when i finally got it shipped to was excited, filled it with gas and oil and it started right up, that weekend i went camping at a rustic campground and was very happy on how it performed, for the size it is quite quiet, it was the talk of my group, first time i ever seen a portable inverter generator with a remote start, i am very happy with what i got no regrets what so ever

Amazing

Home Depot Customer Confirmed Owner  -  2017-10-11
Bought for tailgating but used for Hurricane Matthew first. READ THE MANUAL FIRST, READ THE STICKERS. The sticker on front clearly indicates you must connect the battery first, the manual clearly details you need to clean and oil the air filter these other reviewers must not read things first saying you added oil and gas then started it means you didn't properly prepare the air filter and there is a giant sticker that says you need to connect the battery on the unit. I got this ready in short time and ran it a few minutes prior to the Hurricane arriving to my area in Saint Augustine, Fl. Shortly into the day my power went out AFTER the rain died down I set my generator outside exhaust AWAY from my home, under cover. I also duct taped the closest door and window to help prevent fumes from coming inside, but the unit "pushes," the exhaust far away into the wind. I used less than 6 gallons to run this unit for 17 hours and 50 minutes straight. I had 2-Tvs, 2-satellite boxes, 1-soundbar, router, modem, Xbox, WiiU, 2-dvd players, 3-fans, AND a refrigerator connected and it didn't even seem to break a sweat. I do think the ECO button is installed upside down because when I pushed it "on," it ran at 3400rpm but if I turned it off it dropped to 1748 and fluctuated to 2488rpm so obviously that way was more fuel efficient. I am out of power again still probably days away but im sitting here writing this on my phone that is being charged by a ridgid battery that was charged by the generator, I made sure to read and re read the manual first and I also used only 93-octane gas because the manual said 91-"research," which I did not understand clearly so I ran 93, I have learned the hard way to make sure you go above and beyond in understanding things before using them so I noticed on other reviews elsewhere people complain of this being dead on arrival (connect battery) and also if it not lasting more than a few hours obviously from someone that did not do the air filter process, I also noticed people complaining of gas leaking but if you follow the steps you will see a hose connected to the carberateur it should be pushed thru the hole on the inside bottom of the unit I saw a response from midland the maker of this generator and they stated it was for overflow and meant to drain excess gas so if the hose was inside the unit that gas would collect and come out at once and NO I DO NOT work for them. This thing is great you just need to be smart and use common sense this is a great value so expect to check everything first mine came with someone's scary long hair tangled in all the tubing clips I removed it but also made sure all the hoses were connected securely and all the parts were tight. There's storage info as well so please read that after you use this, I expected something that would need time off to cool down and something that would not want to readily start or run loudly but this thing is the opposite it starts quickly runs strong and quietly and feels like a quality item that will work when I need it because I'm going to care for it as recommended. Thanks for making these days with no power comfortable.

First Start

Chef Confirmed Owner  -  2017-10-11
You need to attach the cables to the battery when you unbox, i didnt see that in the manual, Or you will pull the cord countless times and nothing happens. Ran 1875 watt hair dryer with ease and is quit, could barely hear it running while I was in the house. So far so good!

I originally bought the Briggs&Stratton P3000. I returned it right away when I saw the EZV3200 in the Home Depot Flyer first week of DEC. 2016 on sale for $999. I got 3200watt vs 3000 plus electric remote start and I saved $400. VERY HAPPY WITH PURCHASE!

Bought this a week ago and just fired it up tonight. Starting system is great and it's much quieter than my 3200 watt powerhouse inverter generator.
